In line with the BIR’s thrust to improve the quality, efficiency and accuracy of its tax audit, a computer audit work station called CAATTS Laboratory was inaugurated last December 22 at the Bureau’s National Office.

Jacinto-Henares recommended the issuance of Revenue Regulations No. 9-2010 last September 13, which gives delinquent taxpayers a chance to voluntarily file/rectify their tax returns and pay the deficiency taxes due without the imposition of surcharges and/or compromise penalties.
