RDO 105 - has its area of jurisdiction, the City of Surigao with fifty four (54) Barangays including the Province of Surigao del Norte comprising twenty seven (27) municipalities with three hundred eighty (380) barangays.Surigao City including the Province of Surigao del Norte is located at the Northeastern part of Mindanao with a total land area of 288,905 hectares. It is bounded on the North and East of Pacific Ocean; on the south by the Province of Agusan del Norte and Surigao del Sur and on the west by the Surigao Strait.The province with Surigao City as its provincial capital is composed of the Mainland and two large islands, namely Dinagat and Siargao Islands.The Mainland is composed of: Surigao City and 11 municipalities namely: Alegria, Bacuag, Claver, Gigaquit, Maninit, Malimono, Placer, San Francisco, Sison, Tagana-an and Tubod;Siargao Island has 9 Municipalities, namely: Burgos, Dapa, Del Carmen, General Luna, Pilar, San Benito, San Isidro, Sta. Monica and Socorro. Dinagat Island has 7 Municipalities, namely: Basilisa, Cagdianao, Dinagat, Libjo, Loreto, San Jose and Tubajon.

Comprised of 19 Municipalities 17 of which is laying along the coast facing the Pacific Ocean from the nothern tip of the Province to the southern tip except for the municipality of San Miguel which is in the interior part of the province and is nestled in the valley between the mountain ranges of the Diwata and is 31.17 km. from Tandag. Starting from the northern tip of the province is the municipality of Carrascal, 7 km. going south is the municipality of Cantilan. 10 km. further going south is Madrid; 6 km further is Carmen and 6 km. further going south is Lanuza. From Lanuza going southeast is the municipality of Cortes and going further southeast with a distance of 27 km. from Cortes is Tandag, the capital Town of the Province of Surigao del Sur. 7 km. going southeast is the municipality of Tago. Going further southeast are the municipalities of Bayabas, Cagwait, Marihatag, San Agustin, Lianga, Barobo, Tagbina, Hinatuan, Bislig and Lingig the southern tip of the province. The District shall be bounded as follows: On the east southeast and east northeast of the province is the Pacific Ocean. From the southern tip is Lingig and is bounded by Davao Oriental and going south southwest is the Diwata mountain range bounded by Agusan del Sur and on the norht northwest is the same Diwata mountain range and is bounded by Agusan del Norte and on the northern tip of the province is bounded by Surigao del Norte.
